Core Team

KyAnn Anderson

Program Director

A passionate member of the Somerville community who never hesitates to get involved with causes that inspire her, KyAnn is also a licensed Architect and a LEED Accredited Professional. She is a designer for the Green Line Extension Project as well as a member of the Public Involvement Team. She is on the Board of Trustees for Prospect Hill Academy and Somerville Cable Access Television. You may find her hosting Greater Somerville, a weekly program on SCAT, wandering around Home Depot, or running with her 4-legged friend, Oreo.

Dmitri Gunn

Partnership Director

Dmitri is an entrepreneurial professional with over a decade of early-stage startup expertise in the consumer internet, higher education, and telecommunications markets. He is an active member of the MIT, Harvard, and Boston startup communities and is passionate about building strategic relationships with companies and organizations that are foundations for long-term successful partnerships. He loves discussing innovative ideas and Southern BBQ.

C. Todd Lombardo

Executive Director

C. Todd started TEDxMadrid in 2009, the first TEDx to be held in Spain. A Somerville property owner and former resident of the Brickbottom building, he seeks to showcase amazing stories from the greater Somerville area through the TEDx program. Todd is on the adjunct faculty at IE Business School in Madrid, a Consultant for XPLANE|Dachis Group and Change Agent for Catalytic. He can be found riding his bicycle, cooking, or consuming chocolate chip cookies.

Todd Van Hoosear

Public Relations Manager

Todd is a public relations and marketing professional with over 20 years of technology communications experience. He is the principal of Fresh Ground, a Cambridge-based PR and social media agency, and was the founder of the Social Media Club Boston chapter. He is an active member of the Boston PR and social media community, and loves climbing and coffee.

Kim Blodgett

Artistic Curator

Kim is a practicing artist living in Somerville, MA. She received her MFA in painting from the Rhode Island School of Design (RISD). As well as being a ‘maker,’ Kim is also involved in the educational side of art. She is a professor at Cambridge College, is an artist in residence at a Boston nonprofit serving inner city at-risk youth, and teaches in six Boston Public Schools. When not in her studio or in the classroom, Kim can be found racing her bicycle in the mud.

Scott Seiffer

Social Media Manager

Scott has experience managing social media marketing and communications for several companies in the finance industry. He is passionate about how individuals react and communicate in the social world. A recent graduate of Northeastern University, he loves photography, green tea, and anything made in a Crock-Pot.

Natalie Zanecchia

Graphic Designer

Natalie is a graphic designer living in Somerville. She has worked on a variety of projects in the Boston area and her expertise is in branding, wayfinding, and environmental design. When she’s not passionately designing she can be found in the kitchen whipping up her latest farm share experiment.

Jean Donnelly

Director of Operations

Jean is an operations management professional with 15 years experience in insurance and financial services and a background in industrial engineering and process improvement. She is also on the Board of the Youth Advocacy Foundation in Boston. Jean is a longtime Somerville resident with a passion for travel and hiking.

Jon Bernhardt

Music Curator

Jon just completed a six-year tour of duty on the Somerville Arts Council where he served on many Local Cultural Council grant panels and helped program the music stages for ArtBeat, the annual festival in Davis Square. He has also been hosting the Breakfast of Champions radio show on WMBR 88.1FM since 1984. When he’s not curating or DJing, he works as an actuary and plays the theremin. He and his wife Christina live in Somerville and had their first child this past October.

Ariella Camera

Volunteer Chair

Ariella is a graduate student at Brandeis University studying Sustainable International Development and currently lives in Somerville. She is passionate about public health and community development. She is an active member of the Boston Delta Gamma Alumnae Chapter, Pennsylvania State Alumni Association, and Alumni Americorps Boston Chapter. She can be found enjoying yoga, indulging in chocolate, and exploring coffee shops in the area.

Cat Bartash

Volunteer Chair

Cat is a self proclaimed TED junkie so when she heard that there was going to be a TEDxSomerville, she knew she wanted to be involved. Cat has lived and worked in Somerville for over 10 years. Usually she can be found working at Wheelworks and eating chocolate.

Tuck Welch

Volunteer Chair

Tuck is marketing professional with over 10 yrs experience working at agencies and with entrepreneurial ventures. Outside of work, she seeks out adventure sailing and skiing. She also stays active in the community by serving on the Board of The Surfrider Foundation. Her Somerville roots date way back to the late 1800’s when her great grandfather was part of the Somerville Fire Department.

Krishan Arora

Stage Manager

As a Somerville resident, Krishan has worked on many projects as the stage manager throughout his community. Having collaborated on events such as the Academy of Leaders Mentoring program, the Harvard Leadership Conference, and the TEDxCambridge event; Krishan brings his extensive knowledge of stage management to this team. Concentrated in extension studies in Economics, Krishan is currently pursuing his Liberal Arts degree at Harvard University. Passionate in the fields of technology and astrophysics, Krishan loves documentaries on outer space and has a strong passion for traveling.

John Neely

Video Production

John is a TV producer and filmmaker whose work for Powderhouse Productions has seen him chasing cats in Thailand, choppering onto an offshore rig in Australia, and shooting compost worms in his backyard. John has written for Somerville-based companies Humongous Media and Reviewed.com, and ZuluHoops, an independent film he co-produced in South Africa is nearing completion. This summer, he hopes to grow more tomatoes than last year.

Katherine Vetne

Assistant Art Curator

Katherine is a practicing artist who is fairly new to the Somerville area. She leads an artist collaborative that meets regularly for critiques, openings, and other art events. She is currently curating a group show featuring work from participating artists. In addition, Katherine works for a local non-profit agency that works to end
domestic violence. When she is not making or managing her artwork, Katherine enjoys running, cooking, reading, drinking coffee, and trying to grow as many plants in her apartment as possible.
